We believe that learning extends beyond the classroom. Throughout the year, we offer a wide range of clubs, activities and targeted support programmes designed to help children develop new skills, build confidence, foster friendships and enhance their overall wellbeing.

Our activities provide opportunities for pupils to explore their interests, develop their talents and enjoy positive experiences with their peers in a supportive environment.

Additional Support for Learning

We provide a range of targeted interventions to support pupils with literacy and numeracy.

Children may work individually or in small groups to develop key skills and build confidence in their learning. Support may focus on:

  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Spelling
  • Numeracy and mathematical understanding
  • Dyslexia-friendly approaches
  • Communication and language development

Our aim is to ensure that every child receives the support they need to achieve success and feel confident in their learning.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

Many of our activities provide opportunities for children to develop practical life skills and experience learning in different contexts. Through activities such as gardening, cooking, reading groups and collaborative projects, pupils learn valuable skills including teamwork, communication, creativity, problem-solving and independence.

These experiences enrich the curriculum and contribute to the development of successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors.
